Picea abies - Country reports
Good information flow among countries is one
of the prerequisites for genetic resources programmes that work
effectively at national level. Therefore, upon joining the Picea
abies Network each country prepared a description of its experiences
in conservation and use, including issues related to priority
setting processes, threats breeding, applied conservation methods,
research, public awareness, constraints and future perspectives.
Some of the countries have also provided updates
to the initial material.
